Free Sydney outdoor Wedding Ceremony Locations

Free Sydney locations for intimate Weddings and Ceremonies

You can be married under beautiful trees in an outdoor setting or have a city or Harbour view. There are great photo opportunities to be had in all of these locations.

Some things you might like to consider when using these locations

Do it midweek when there are no crowds.

Avoid School Holidays or Public Holidays.

Some locations will not allow you to set up chairs etc… so always check with council.

Check availability with Council, you don’t want to show up, and there be an event on.

Here are some of my favourites

Henry Lawson Reserve – Henry Lawson Ave, McMahons Point NSW
The reserve is located across the road from Blues Point Reserve and is a prime location, sitting right on Sydney Harbour. It has views of the Bridge, Opera House and the city.

Copes Lookout – Jeffreys St, Kirribilli NSW
Copes Lookout is opposite Jeffreys st Wharf. It is right at the base of the Harbour Bridge and overlooks the Sydney Opera House and city. It is an extremely popular location.

Bradfield Park – Alfred St, Milsons Point NSW
A beautiful scenic waterfront park that is underneath and to the side of the Harbour Bridge

Mary Booth Lookout Reserve – Waruda St, Kirribilli NSW
A beautiful reserve with some of the best views of Sydney Harbour. One to check out.

Brennan Park – King St, Wollstonecraft NSW
A popular park that has some huge stunning trees.

Sawmillers Reserve – 2 Munro St, McMahons Point NSW
This is Sydney’s hidden gem. It is a large reserve, facing the waterfront that houses an old shipwreck. No views of the Opera house or Bridge but it has lots of different options for a ceremony.

Watt Park – 7 Lavender Cres, Lavender Bay NSW
Set just behind the Harbour foreshore this beautiful park has some significant and rare trees which make a stunning backdrop for you photo’s. It is a much quieter area for an intimate ceremony.

These are just a few options for you to consider for your Wedding ceremony location.
